Marin Backyard Movie Nights is a simple, family-owned local setup service for families and small groups who want an easy outdoor cinema experience, without the tech stress. We bring the screen, projector, sound, and handle setup and breakdown so you can focus on hosting and having a great party.

  • No, you choose the movie and use your own streaming/login. We provide the screen + projector setup. If Wi-Fi is an issue, we recommend renting the movie in advance as a digital download on Apple TV.

  • No. Once everything is running smoothly, we leave and return for a breakdown. For an additional fee, we can have someone stay on site to monitor for any technical difficulties.

  • A clear and large setup area and access to a standard power outlet. If you are concerned about space and sizing, give us a call, and we can assess with you over the phone.

  • Outdoor events are weather-dependent. We’ll work to reschedule if conditions aren’t safe.

  • Yes, but only with the 100-inch screen. In fact, this setup looks and sounds amazing inside. We just need to ensure there is enough space.

  • We primarily serve Marin County. Travel outside Marin may include a fee.

  • Because our projector tech is best used after dusk, we cannot accommodate daytime viewing. If daytime viewing is desired, we recommend using an indoor space that can be darkened enough for viewing.
